This past fall was pretty difficult for me. It wasn't bad, necessarily, but it was difficult. I was so overloaded with homework and stress and, even though I managed to get through it all better than I'd ever expected, it was still an experience I don't want to repeat in the immediate future. The great thing about life is that lessons can be learned in all kinds of situations, both easy and difficult. I learned in this past semester of school that I rarely set aside valuable time for myself. So it's always inspiring to write one of these New Year things once you come to the end of the year and begin looking back on what you've learned, lost, gained, etc. This past year has been one of the best in my life and I'm very grateful for the peace I've experienced after all I went through the year before.
